Well it's been a long long long super long time since I last posted an entry..Here are some updates.

2010 has been a geat year, made some good friends and also did some stunners during my company's D&D ( Shake your bon bon) lolz. But it was fun, I enjoyed myself very much. Was given a change to excel in work too....

So far 2011 has been great, the confirmation in excel in work was here but yet so far...thou the confirmation always excite me but it come with lots of mixed feelings that I have to manage, I know I am giving myself this unduly stress but if you were me you would feel the same too :p I am learning as I go along to cope with my emotions, to tell you the truth It really sucks to be in the emo state cause it really affects your relationship with other, work and your personal well being.

I don't like bottling things up so that's why I blog and talk to friends to let them know how I feel..I might think a lot at times but it's a passing phase. Don't let feelings control your thoughts, if not your thoughts would become a reality. You control your feelings..: ) This is a very important point which I picked up from a book which I read recently and it's very applicable : )

Well, phew...I feel so much better after blogging in all out : )

Mobile phone in Service Centre

Yes the title says it all, my E71 is currently at the Nokia Service Centre...was kinda worked up and grumpy when my E71 screen went blank after switching it on and off. I just hope that my phone is ok, I realise that I can't do without my handphone.

Thinking back, why did I get all so worked up and grumpy when my phone screen went blank ? It was not worth it, ended up been angry and was like rushing like a mad dog in search of the service centre. Should have kept my calm and be patient.

Lesson learnt, I need to be patient and don't get too worked up. No good for my health as what Mum and Dad say if you get too impatient and worked up you would get high blood pressure, which is no good to your health.

A brand new design...

My Apologies that I have not been updating my blog as I have been busy...ok ok that's just an excuse the real reason was that I was lazy :P
Do enjoy the new design which I have selected for my blog, a new design a new beginning.
Have been busy at work....well learnt a lot from work and friends. I learnt to how better manage and handle situations at work. I am also thankful to have understanding colleagues and supervisors. Also made a new friends at work which keeps me motivated at work. Thank you all and it was a pleasure knowing all of you : )
Have been reading a book recently and there is this interesting principle, which is we should be kind to people who are rude to you. I guess it means that if people who are rude to us we don't have to react back the same way if not we are no different from the people who are rude to us. I know this is not easy to master but it's good to apply this principle in our daily lives. We should also possess the following too - patience, forgiveness, courtesy,humility, generosity and honesty.

Sick

Hey everyone,

Finally I am in the mood to blog...hehehe :).

Was down with stomach flu last Thursday and Friday, I really hate the feeling of been sick, had diarrhoea than after vomited.I was so drained out that I did not have the energy to go to work the next day. After a 2 day rest, I was well and good to go on Saturday : ) One must take care of yourself and don't fall sick.

Went out for some CNY shopping at Robinsons, bought myself a set of pyjamas, underwear and a pair of shoes and I only paid $90 (as I used the Robinsons vouchers which I have gotten in the DND lucky draw). Than after went to meet Yong Bin and Thomas as Spin @ OC. I really like been at Spin espcially during the evening, sitting outside and just chilling at Spin on a Saturday evening : )

After Spin we went to have dinner at a foodcourt at Concorde hotel, the prices at the foodcourt were cheaper than anywhere else you can find in town. Than after we went to PS for a walk and some shopping before making our way home.

Well it's the last day of 2009 and we would be welcoming 2010 in about 14 hours time....

Looking back 2009 was a year filled with both ups and downs, whatever it has been it's time for us to look forward to 2010 and make a fresh start.

Haeundae The Deadliest Tsunami

Had a great time chilling at Molly Malone last night with the gang thou I was a bit stone..haha..I am looking forward to our next drinking session.

Went to town today to catch the movie Haeundae (Hai Yun Tai), what can I say it's a good movie, it made me cry. There were many touching scenes in the movie which stirred up my emotions, I tried to hold back but my tears just kept flowing. Let me briefly describe one of the scenes which made me cried.

The scene where the mother was grasping for air when she is trapped in the lift filled with water, at that moment she called her daughter(whom was with her father) and told her that she missed her daughter and than water filled up the whole lift. Just as we thought that the water would drown to death, the plumber heard noise coming out from the lift and managed to pry open the lift door, the mother escaped and reunited with her daughter and ex husband at the top level of the hotel. Soon the helicopter can to rescue the survivors but everyone was rushing to get into the helicopter, the girl's father handed her daughter to one the survivors and told her to take good care of her, it was a heartbreaking scene..sob sob..and than just as we thought the worst is over the 2nd wave of tsunami came, both the girl's parents embraced each other and apologised to each other, the daughter can only helplessly see her parents been swept by the tsunami.

After watching this movie it made me realise that we are indeed very fortunate to live in Singapore where we do not encounter natural disasters such as earthquakes or typhoons.No matter how smart we are we can never ever outlast the forces of mother nature. I also learnt that I should be thankful for the people and things I have with me now. Appreciate and and be grateful of every moment with your friends and family cause you never know what will happen.

I just want to say...Daddy and Mummy I love you. :)

Hi,
Finally an update...time to dust my blog and recollect what has happened for the past few months...

July - Sept - Been busy with work, almost OT at work everyday..mood swings, sleepy nights, burned weekends,

Oct - Back to normal mode but something not so good happen and I am always the point of target, but fret not life still goes on. After that incident, I have learnt that I need to be more discreet...:D

Went for a duck tours yesterday, it was a fun and bumpy ride, than after went to meet a friend for a movie - Cloudy with a chance of meatballs, lesson learnt from the show, nothing is impossible if you believe you can do it! After that met up with the gang, had dinner and than went to Harry's bar for a drink..

Report is out and KL Trip

After a month of waiting, the report on the water which I drank during my holiday trip was finally out. And guess what. The results were shocking, I actually drank water which contained small amounts of detergent( yes, its detergent) and bacteria. Thankfully, I was all right the night after I drank that glass of water, according to the chemist if after I drank the water, the side effect would have surface the following day. I am glad that nothing happen to me, to tell the truth I was very worried the night when I drank down the water, did not sleep well too, partly the water and also the room was very very cold, imagine I had to wear my jeans to bed and 3 layers of clothing. Well lesson learnt, now when I drink water I would first look at the water than smell if there is any funny odour from the water. Better be safe than sorry. All right so much of my water experience.

Was at KL over the weekend, my first time taking the budget air to KL. It's ok not too bad, after all you pay for what you get. But the flight to KL while descending was a bit shaky, somewhat the same experience I had taking a domestic flight during my recent holiday trip. Upon reaching the terminal, we boarded the bus to KL Central, our hostel YMCA was located near KL Central, the distance from LCCT to KL Central was quite far, it took almost an hour to reach KL central. After reaching KL Central, we placed our bags in our room and went to Mines valley. Took a train from KL central to Mines valley, after taking the train at KL, it makes one appreciate our MRT system here, thou at times we complain that how come the train so pack, why so long and why these people pushing me, ha ! wait till you experience train rides in KL than you know..:D Did not have much time to shop, so headed to the food court for a quick dinner and than made our way to the indoor stadium at Jalan Bukit for Fish Leong's Today Valentine's Day concert. Ok here comes the story of the KL transport again, we had to change train to go to the stadium, and the train timings were far from been accurate, the arrival time of the train would be displayed on the screen, but the train would not arrive at that time and the timing would change. All in all it took us almost 30- 45 mins from Mines Valley to get to Jalan Bukit.

Had a great time during the concert. We were all in a jubilant mood. We sang along to familiar tunes sung by Fish Leong. The feeling was great and I always enjoyed her concert.
After the concert, we headed back to YMCA. Ok here comes the KL transport story part 3, did you know that the cabs there can choose not to run on meters and its all based on negotiation. Something like game theory and bargaining, we have to reach a win-win compromise to agree on the price. Thankfully we have Huimin with us to bridge the language barrier and helped us negotiate with the taxi uncle. After a couple of cabs, we chance on this taxi uncle who decided to charge us $30 to YMCA.

Reached YMCA about 1am and went over to 7-11 to get some water and food. Than after proceeded back to YMCA, took a shower, had a light snack and went to bed. Was really really tired, cause I had a long week. Thou tired the trip was worth it, I feel recharged and ready to face the week fresh and happy.

It was a memorable trip and I enjoyed every part of it.

SIM-UOL Convocation 2009

Finally, the day has come for me to go on stage. :) Woke up feeling excited, was in a jubilant mood :), I was not even feeling hungry during the tea reception...hahas. I will never forget this day, many thanks to my colleagues for the gifts and encouraging words, it was a pleasant surprise ! A day filled with happiness and joy and not forgetting lots of photo-taking which I am still seeing stars till now due to the effects of the flash :p

The feeling this time is different when I graduated from Poly, this graduation ceremony marks the milestone of my education journey, it would be a start and not an end to education. I look forward in going up on stage again and receive another education qualification :)

Pulau Ubin

Had a great hike at Ubin except for those pesky mosquitoes which kept following me and biting me..lolz. Really enjoyed the hike as it was my first time at Ubin. Ubin is laid back and everything is so basic and simple.Its a great place to escape the buzz of urban life.

After Ubin, went to T3 to have our lunch and than after to TCC to relax and chill before heading home.....

A great way to end the week with a visit to Ubin :)

Walk @ The Southern Ridges

Went to the Southern Ridges for a walk today. Met up and went with Thomas and CYB ( as usual he make Thomas and me wait for him, both of us finish walking Giant and G2000 and he was still on here yet...tsk tsk. Was suppose to set of at 9.30am but in the end we set off at 10.35am.

Enjoyed the walk very much today. We went to Mt Faber Park, Henderson Wave, Forest Walk, Hort Park and lastly Kent Ridge Park. Thou I was a bit gaga and keep complaining how come we need to climb uphill, but I still very much enjoyed the walk and don't mind doing it again.

After the walk, we headed to a Prata Cafe for some prata and drinks to recharge our energy.
Sorry ah Thomas and CYB that you had to bear with my jokes and laughter haha.:-D

My first blog post for 2009. Wishing all well and a Happy 2009. Went to One Raffles Quay to take photos of the fireworks. Thought that I did not managed to capture good pictures, but when I downloaded to the PC, the pictures turn out quite ok. Thanks to my new tripod stand and ah-wei. Boxing Day and Post Christmas

Here's an updated after Christmas. Christmas was always plain sailing for me. Stayed at home to have a good rest. Was out shopping on the eve of Christmas eve. Had some shopping therapy, bought a pair of sandals and shoe, a shirt. :)

After a well rested three day break, was back at work on Boxing Day. Nothing much at work, was kinda quiet in the admin offices as most of my colleagues were on long leave. As usual had some irritating students come bugging me and asking me some stupid questions. ( Sorry can't go into detail on this, if you would like to know more, please ask me personally :-D)
Although I do dread some of the students, but I still like my job. I must say its challenging at times but you'll get to learn and accumulate lots of experience and knowledge.These experiences and knowledge can never be found in textbooks.

Went to watch "The Day the Earth stood still". The stars of the show were Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly. It was a good show as from the show we need to show concern to our Earth and protect it and do not take things for granted. Most importantly I learnt that do not always wait till the most critical moment than we start to repent by than it would be too late.

Singapore Standard Chartered Marathon 2008

Time for a blog update :-)

Went for the SSCM marathon - 10KM yesterday, thank goodness it was not raining. Its my 2nd time participating and I completed it in 1hr 29 mins. Started off jogging for the 1st 5kms than walk in between and than jog for the last 4kms. All in all it was a good marathon.

Met up with Thomas and Yong Bing for a drink at Spin, had my favourite Sunkiss Twist and Green Tea log cake..yummy :)

Was walking along towards Hereen, and saw the MP and SAF band marching on the road towards the Istana. There was a change of guard at the Istana.

helloo.................everyone..hahas Its been a long long time since I last update. Had to update cause someone demands an update oopps !!

I have been busy with work.Work has been fine. Enjoy interacting with students and everyday is a good experience.
Was back at office today as I was rostered for Saturday duty....speaking of which I had not been going out for a long time too...which is good cause I can save money :-D
Hope to do some shopping..wanna buy some clothes, shoes...etc..:-D

new job, new beginning

I would be starting my new job next Monday, would be working at Student Helpdesk as a Programme Executive. Look forward to my new job. This job enables me to interact with students which is what I enjoy doing.

Had a great outing today, I had to force Alex to meet me up, haha..Ok it was not really force cause he was outside already so told him that I wanted to meet him and I was going crazy staying at home...Met up with Alex at Suntec City, the crowd was horrendous, when I was passing over citylink it was so crowded i as if some party has just ended, than the next crowd was at Suntec the walk way between the convention centre and Food Republic than the next crowd was at the escalators the crowd was expected at Suntec cause it was the Comex fair.
After dinner we headed down to the arcade to play some games, Alex recommended me the game Asia Dynamic, its a great game and its highly addictive, you go through each stage by fighting off villains. Its a game towards adventure and fighting and I look forward to my next arcade session. :)

Sidetrack a little, the Olympics has been a great inspiration to me especially the swimming events where US swimmer Michael Phelps won 8 gold medals. He has shown me that nothing is impossible when you put your heart at it.

Time to dust my blog and to update...

Just ended my one month stint at higher education dept at SIM. It was a great experience. Got to see the different types of people, have to handle supervisors who seem to think you are slow at work and keep asking what you are doing, sometimes its not I am slow, cause I am doing the work of 2 temp staff who was previously working and also the workload given to me its not possible that I am able to finish it alone.

Unappreciative and unreasonable manager who expects you to finish your work even till your last day at work, which I did finish cause I did not want to leave a bad mark.

That pretty sums it all that had happened. It was a good training ground for me, a good head start to my working life. Thou I was really angry at first but after thinking thru hey its not that bad and I did gain from this short stint. I was all in all glad that I had the opportunity to work in Higher Education dept. It laid a good foundation for me.

Moving on I would be called up for an interview. Hope they call me up for an interview soon. I want to start working. :)

Exam results would be out in late August/Early September. Keeping my fingers crossed. All the best to my friends too.

Met up with Thomas, Jason, Kelvin, Wei, Aw, Yong Bing and friend and Huimin to take photos of the NDP preview fireworks display....but it started to drizzle and we thought that the drizzle would subside but it turned out it started to pour..oh well what to do. I am definitely looking forward to our next photo session.

Day 1 and 2 : Singapore to Osaka - Universal Studio and Shinsaibashi Shopping District

Here are the photos of day 1 of my Japan Trip.Took an overnight flight from Singapore to Osaka-Kansai International Airport. Did not sleep well on board the plane, which left me a red itchy eye the following day when I was at Universal studio. Thank goodness the tour guide recommended me to buy a eye drop which was very effective and my eye was back to normal the following day.Okay less talk more pictures. Enjoy the photos.

I just had my last paper today which was Management accounting.Well I should be happy that I have completed my exams. But all thanks to the tough MA paper that I had. For now I am just glad that my exams are over. My worry is that how the result would turn out to be..well shell leave that to much much later for now is relax and of course find a job and start work soon.

Let me do a brief recap of the papers I took.

Corporate finance
this paper was the first stunner and it was my first paper.I attempted all question. I hope that I will pass. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Macroeconomics
Paper was ok, except that I was not able to finish 3 short questions, but I managed to complete all long questions. Phew thank goodness macro was ok as It is my core module.

Management Science Methods
A smooth sailing paper. Hope I am able to score :)

Management Accounting
The 2Nd stunner for this exam.Haiz..shell not elaborate further wait i cry ( eh..not literally cry as my friend said "cry" in the heart) keeping my fingers crossed on this one too.

Okay enough talking about exams, now its time for me to relax, need to relax to move on further in live. Will not think about what my marks would..

Looking forward to my holiday trip... 8 more days to go..

feel excited

Woke up this morning feeling excited,hmm..maybe its because of next Wednesday, would be having my macro and also... haha Ok i shall not say what is the other thing that got me excited.

Last Thursday, had my first paper which was CF, and my table number was 444. So "lucky" number right...anyway the paper was tough, I sort of expected that it would be tough and it was very different from previous years. I did do the required number of questions, just keeping my fingers crossed.
3 more days to go for my macro paper, and please no more stunners for macro and the rest of the papers...

Just confirmed my holiday trip, I would be going to Japan..:-) looking forward to that..and i would be taking A380 for my flight back to Singapore (even more excited) hahas :)

Xiaoming, when you come back its my turn to be there..:)

9 more days to go...Weeee....First paper CF.( CF makes me excited, lolz)
I have mixed feelings this time for exam, a part of me is worried and a part of me is slack. Maybe its a good combination to getting good results cause for the previous exams I was always worried, one of the reasons is because my exams starts early but this time I start late May and end early June and there is like a break between the first and second paper except for the third and forth paper which are consecutive.
Well, maybe as what my friend said we already went through two exams liaoz, so that feeling of anxiousness and nervousness is not as intense..well his right, still remembered when I had my first exam at Expo, all of us were so excited, and for me I even fell sick after my third last paper, thank goodness my last paper was a period of 10 days after the third paper.

Okay I must not be complacent. I will work hard and score well..:)

Hmmm here is another thing to look forward to.... 26 days more to....( hahas I shell not say..) :-D

Would be having the first three papers at Expo and the last one would be at FTC, Starhub Centre at Cuppage. For Management Accounting, there is 3 different locations for the exam venue - FTC, AJC and Expo.

Just came back from revision lecture from school, don't feel so well..cause earlier on at school had a stomachache, had porridge for lunch cause no appetite.
On my way home was feeling hungry, so after alighting at the bus stop went to 7-eleven to grab a sandwich and milo...feel much better after eating the sandwich and milo..But i still feel funny, I should drink more water..was chatting on MSN with Kelvin and he told me to nap, told him I can't nap, cause its late and also need to take dinner soon. He said if I buay tahan than go rest don't push myself cause its bad for my body.( Thanks Kelvin for your concern).

Attended two of my friends convocation tea reception at SIM (my 2nd time attending at SIM). Looking at my fellow schoolmates wearing the graduation gown makes me want to graduate soon too, cause one really looks different wearing the mortar board and graduation gown.

Jam along Clementi Road outside SIM

There was an accident outside my school causing a jam. Apparently a car was turning out of SIM and it went directly to the rightest most lane and the driver did not notice the on coming lorry and the car ramp up the curb. Head lights and car bonnet of the car were badly smashed.

As usual today I had night lesson and the busstop outside SIM is always crowded after 10pm...hmm guess I am pretty immune to crowds at the busstop now..C'est La Vie :-)

Ok I going to rest liaoz, have not been feeling good for past two days as I was down with a headache yesterday.

Hi all, it has been a long wait for an update. Here's some updates, had my first overseas revision last weekend, was quite good except my lecturer speaks with a french accent so we had to listen carefully, his a pretty interesting person, if you look at him at first you would not have known that he was a financial lecturer but rather a artist.:-)

Than after that had my local revision on Monday, after class went to unwind by watching the movie Horton, than after walk around HMV before heading home. It felt like it was Saturday to me cause my Saturdays and Sundays were spend in school so the Monday compensates the Saturday :-)

Here I am back again at school on a Saturday, but its local revision so its not the whole day I would be in school if not I won't be sitting here at my school library blogging..opps hahas

Okay got to go liaoz, I would post a photo which I took this morning at my home..

Had my CF and MA paper last week. It was a tired and worrying week for me. Glad that I to try out the prelims for these two papers. Thou I have not finished studying, but its good that I went to try. Get a feel of exam conditions. The turn out was good too, many students turn up for the two papers.

Two more to go which is MACRO and MSM. Rest day for me today and I'll start MACRO tomorrow.. Go Go Go..Nothing is Impossible! :)

Went for Wei's convocation at SIM today. It was a great experience for me, should say its my first time attending a friend's convocation . Was Wei's cameraman for the day :) It was fun been cameraman.

.....Let me back track a little... when I woke up this morning, I had a really strange strange dream, ahem really makes me think whether is it a dream or in reality it happened..hmmz..the dream was about that I was a murderer and it felt very real..and the police were tracking me down..opps *poof poof* Okay I think I should stop here now..wait all my friends will run away when they see me, lolz..ROFL

The only reason I will have this dream is because previous night I did not have a good night's sleep, so when I slept last night it sort of like there is a disruption in my sleep..anywayz my sleeping patterns nowadays seems to erratic, sometimes i can sleep very well throughout the night than at times I will toss and turn. That's why now I will do lots of stuff during the day to make myself feel tired than I can have a good nights rest. A good nights rest is important for one's well being and I am sure you would agree.

Revisions have been ongoing, so far ok..cause the study mode is setting in...Prelims in a few days time..are you ready ?

Went to watch Jumper with a friend on Thursday, It was as okay movie bah. Cause its talking about this guy( who is a Jumper) having the power to teleport himself from place to place and some other groups of people who are in search of the jumpers and killing them..After the movie we headed to River HongBao, It was not as crowded as it was during Chinese New Year probably it was because its a weekday. I enjoyed walking the River Hongbao again, yap its my second time there as I was there during the 2nd day of new year.
That pretty much wraps up the week as for the rest of the week is just school and home and some revision.
Speaking of revision, I have been a tortise. I won't say my progress is very slow that I am still stuck at the first two chapters of what I am studying or I don't even know my work. Anyway even thou I am tortise now I would eventually catch up the rabbit..( sorry if this sounds a bit "cold") :-) Okay, I need to speed up for my revision. I guess I can only make it for two of my prelim papers. Now I know don't give your 100% during prelim cause if your prelim results are good you would feel complacent.As the main exams and prelims are totally different questions.
Okay, I got to go..need to rest have been feeling tired, so I need to rest so that I got energy to study..:)

Fireworks at Esplanade

Went to Esplanade with Wei to catch the fireworks. On the way throughout my bus trip, the bus was empty and as the bus travel along Orchard Road, it was so empty, shops were all closed, only fast food restaurants were in operation.It's very quiet. How I wish it was like this everyday so I don't have to squeeze with people in the bus ( ya ya I am dreaming) :-D

While waiting for Wei at City Hall MRT, I passed my Raffles City Shopping Centre. Its rather empty too as most of the shops were closed.Some tourists were walking around the Shopping Centre wondering how come the shops were closed. I should say its wrong timing to come to Singapore now if you want to shop as most of the stores would be closed till Friday. It's like if we go to London during Chirstmas it would be the same where shops would be closed for a couple of days.

Waited for the fireworks to ignite, it was a great feeling. For me whenever fireworks ignite it brings new hope and a new beginning. It's a great start to the festivities.

Okay got to go sleep liaoz, need energy to go bai Nian tomorrow.

Some updates...

hmm so far its been a really really great start for 2008...Great New Year Eve gathering with friends. Thank you Thomas for introducing your friends to me.I appreciate it and I am really happy and heartfelt that we have been friends for 13 years..谢谢你 ! :-)

Went for blood donation last week which was held at my school (its my 2nd time since 2005). It was yet another fulfilling experience thou I really dread needles.:p Blood donation is not as bad as one thinks, its quite painless cause a painkiller is injected before blood is drawn from your veins.

This weekend nothing much happened, was at home doing some accounting questions, still have a few more to go and I must finish doing...About one and a half month to mock exams, I have to start studying manz, its kinda difficult cause off and on I do have some ad hoc stuff to do, that is why its so important that I pay attention in class. The mock exams is a good preparation to the final exams in May and June. Okay so far for my subjects, I am okay with MACRO, MSM and CF. A bit worried for MA cause questions vary and they are not the same all the time. For the rest I need to practice and practice and read and read to understand. No pain no gain. I believe I can do it !

A new week a new start. Have a great week ahead.

Went down to One Raffles Quay to catch the fireworks with Wei, Thomas, Aw, Kelvin("cold" - there is a reason why I put cold will explain that later), Hans and Diana. Fireworks display was great but as the smoke gets thicker we found it harder to capture it but nevertheless we managed to get a couple of nice shots. I will post the photos tomorrow.Stay Tuned..:)

Okay guess by now I think you all must be wondering why beside Kelvin's name there is the word "cold" well...its because he cracks really "cold" jokes. And today it was especially cold as it was already windy and breezy at One Raffles Quay. Kelvin just made it colder..lolz..

We were talking about the songs that Jing Ru sang during the concert, than as the wind was blowing strongly, Thomas linked up with the song - 为你我受冷风吹, than after that he said 伤痕 than Kelvin said 红豆.....(while reading this I guess you all will already feel the coldness liaoz, so did we as we did not get the link...so "cold".. lolz..)

Here was some updates, my apologise for not updating my blog.

So far school work has been ok, got loads of MA questions to do...oh gosh I have not started my assignments and also the homework questions.I must start tomorrow.

Went to Mactrichie for canoeing session on K boats. Today was more of balancing in the kayak and I must say thou it looks easy but to balance on it its tough ( I did manage to balance but when I wanted to paddle I was humpty dumpy than diao..I was in the water le :P..all alright lah most important I will not give up cause I am almost there le, so if I keep trying I can do it de :). Thanks Lex and Junsheng for coaching.

Went to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks last Wednesday. Movie was ok. I enjoyed the acting by the chipmunks and not forgetting the lead actor( he is the actor from my Name is Earl)..

Oh that reminds me please watch channel U next Tuesday, I would be on TV - Yummy Campus Food Hunt at 8pm)

Went for the SCSM 2007, was in the 10km category. My timing was 1hr 30mins..not bad for a novice like me. It was a great experience. While jogging around the CDB area, it make me appreciate the urban landscape we have. Looking forward for my next marathon.

My condolences

Got to know that one of my SIM school mates has passed away in Cambodia. I got a shock when I saw it on the Straits Times on Sunday. Its very shocking as I saw my school mate last week in lecture ( although we don't really know each other). Its very heart breaking as I saw him last week and now he has left us.

Here I offer my heartfelt condolences to SIM dragon boat and to my school mate's parents.

May you rest in peace my fellow school mate.

Rainy and cloudy morning, Had this weird dream again and it was weirder that before...could this be a sign, but I have had that dream the other time and it was like nothing happened, how could this time be different from the last time. But this time the feeling was so strong, could not really remember what happened, hmm...hmm..hack care liaoz..not going to crack my head over this :D

woke up feeling tired.. as I only slept 4 hours the night before as I went for the A-mei concert. It was a great concert.:) I was so high :) Thanks A-mei for coming to Singapore.

Went to work the following morning like a zombie, was really lethargic. Left work at about 8 pm (that's about 11 hours of work as I started work at 8.30am), it was not that there was lots to do but I had to test out the name labels after much testing I succeed. I felt a sense of fulfillment cause I was tasked to do this job and to me I have to do it well and not give up. Walked out from office and headed to the bus-stop, but I did not take the bus :P I was very tired so I hoped on a taxi. The taxi uncle was friendly and we chatted a little.

Later going to meet up with my exco members, its been a long time since I last met them...

Down with fever 38.7 degrees

Was down with fever last night, it was a terrible feeling for a moment I was shivering like mad and the next moment is fiery hot. Went to the doctor, and my temperature was 38.7 degrees. Had to take medication and now my fever has subsided but I feel so tired and weak.

Was suppose to go for movie today, but did not as my friend was not able to make it. Well even if I wanted to go I can't as I am sick.hmm...wow I stayed at home for 3 consecutive Saturdays.I must go out next Sat le..:) Sometimes Its also good to stay at home at least don't have to spend money and there is really nothing else to do besides shopping, ktv and movie.

Guess I will stop here for now. Have a great weekend !

Thinking..reflecting...missing

Time flies..its October already..One month has passed. School has been fine.Took some pretty interesting subjects yet challenging. The tough gets going and the going gets tough..as an old saying goes..what does not kill you makes you stronger..:)

Reflecting on the pass events that happened last month,hmmm...it was my last week at work..than school starts....stayed at home for 2 weeks as I had no where to go, anyway its a good way to save money also, cause when you don't go out you don't spent actually to a certain extent this is true, you do spend even thou you stay at home, cause you use the water and electricity at home..all these are also consumptions (economics view).

Have been doing some thinking, past few nights have been thinking, was thinking about my Grandma that passed away 9 years ago..still can remember it was a sad sad moment for me..thou I did not show it during the wake but when I saw the coffin been pushed to the incinerator..I just could not help it but cry..hmm..but I guess the saddest part was that when all was over i sobbed all the way throughout the bus..( very emo indeed)..But one has to let go..and move on..

I miss the times where mighty mouse and friends are shown on TV,
the cartoons on TV 2 and 3...
old sbc tv drama serials and their theme songs....and the list goes on..

Okay..all right..oo don't know why I so emo..lolz..

Can't wait to go out this saturday..:)

Hi everyone,

Here are some photos taken last Friday when the Hey Gorgeous Crew came to SIM. Be sure to catch the TV telecast of Hey Gorgeous at SIM on the 8th October 2007 , 8pm on Channel U. I might be on tv but I am not the "xiao cao" lolz(yah yah I know I am not that good looking :P

lolx) but I am in the audience and the cameraman did manage to catch me on his camera.

So far school tem has been fine, Its great to be back to school but I do miss my working days at Fairprice department :) Have to study hard for this semester as its my last year.

Time flies, tomorrow is Friday and that means weekend is around the corner. Have a great weekend ahead :)

It been quite a while since I last blogged, my heartfelt apologise..I have been quite busy for the past few weekends on RD, kayaking, fireworks photography and also working on Saturdays.And of course on weekdays is normal office working hours for me.

Here are some updates, first a piece of good news to share, I passed my TP! It felt really great when I got the results from my tester (coincidentally he was my previous tester).

Last Saturday, went to watch fireworks at Marina boulevard,photos are posted on my previous post.I took the photos without a tripod stand, the photos turn out quite nice. It would be even better if I had a tripod stand.

RD - participated in RD ( Relay Duathlon 2007 ) organized by Ngee Ann Poly. It's a event where the first runner runs the first 2km than followed by completing a 2km canoening than the next 2km where the partner(2nd runner) will complete. It was fun.I felt a sense of achievement thou we did not win but its the experience that counts. It was a fruitful experience for me and my team mates. Good job everyone and many thanks to Clarence (the team manager) for coming to support us .:-)

Work has been good so far and I have two more weeks to go before I leave my workplace..which means school is starting soon and exam results are coming out too..All the best to all my friends on the exam results and see you all soon in the new coming semester.:)

A week at work has passed.Work is fine. Its always interesting to work at a new environment with new people and most importantly I like the experience.:) Here are two shots which I took. The first one is my work desk and the next one is a view from my office floor( my office is located on the 14th level..nice view..but due to the cloudy and misty weather I could not get a great shot.Once fine weather comes, I am sure the view would be magnificent.

Its been quite a while since my last blog entry....Time does fly,Its been two weeks since I am back from Chengdu.I am starting to miss JiuZhaiGou, especially the weather, cool mornings - hot afternoons and cool nights. In fact I did not sweat as much as I did in Singapore. Now that I am back to sunny island, the weather has been fine and its very hot, keep sweating profusely....

Okay weather aside, here's a little update.

EcR 1 would be on next Tuesday ( 10th July 2007 ) - after some tough decisions I have decided to choose the following subjects.

Management Science Methods

Macroeconomics

Management Accounting

Corporate Finance( this is the subject that Derrick said it better not be like POA and I assured him that it would not be like POA) :)

Went out with Thomas(my ex secondary school mate) yesterday, first we went to SIM as Thomas wanted to find out some of the course at UniSIM. There were not a lot of people on duty at customer service at SIM, actually what Thomas asked I could have also answered his queries, the staff was not very helpful did not even ask anymore questions or at least say if you have any more enquires please go to our website or at least say if you have any more doubts please come back again. Pardon me for been so stringent, but ok to be on the fair side maybe its a Saturday and the staff was the only counter available...but at least she did answer Thomas's queries. After SIM, we went to Novena @ Square 2 to have lunch, we ate at San Duo( its the same name used in the HK TVB drama serial). The food there was good, I liked the roast pork as its crispy and not too oily and fat.Yummy yum yum.It was a great outing with Thomas, as its been quite some time since we last hang out...

When I reached home I was quite shagg as It was a long day out....Than logged on the MSN. Chatted with a friend whom I did not talk to for 6 months due to some misunderstanding,I started off the conversation, glad that we were chatting over MSN but somehow I am holding back, I am sure some of us where we are in a situation whether a not you should go for it or hold back. Okay, I shell not go on and on about this, makes me feel that I am so long-winded..

Recapping back ----a few days back I was down with a slight fever, it was kinda strange the fever keep recurring and it sucks. Hate that feeling of having a fever off and on. Now the fever is gone, but have this cough, ok not that type of jia lat cough like the cough that I got in Tekong. This time its ok, just have to take care.Hacks sweets(only the red wrapper ones) does work it clams the cough down.:)

I think I will stop here for now, I am looking forward to my exam results and also can't wait for school to reopen.

10 days..I am back

Hello everyone, wow it been 10 days..and I am back from Chengdu .It was a great trip. .Chengdu is the capital province of Si Chuan. Its a big city with a population of 40 million people.Jiu Zhai Gou, its a very scenic place. Air is fresh and the weather there was cold too..about 8 degrees as it is a mountainous area about 3000ft above sea level..

Keep a look out for my photos I would post them on real soon..Now I got to go rest..need to catch up on my sleep..I am still very very tired..:D

Today was my TP, and its my third attempt. Sorry my friends(especially Ke Ying and Alvin) I did not make me this time. Well it was all right. My next test date is August. I can do it. :)

Actually I was not that nervous as my first and second attempt , but this time just that I made a silly mistake in the circuit when doing directional change, when going into the slot I saw that the wheel was going to strike the kerb so I went back to the same position again than reverse, I did about two times but unfortunately when I went back to the same position I strike kerb (lucky not mount kerb if not..don't even need to consider liaoz). After that directional change was ok. Than went to do the usual S course and crank course also ok. Than did vertical parking and parallel parking ( this one minus two points as turning steering when vehicle is stationary) than did slope and ebrake ( this one minus two points as improper technique).

Surprisingly road driving was ok only the usual ones like insufficient acceleration and delay in moving off and wide turn and also abrupt lane change ( all these only minus 14 points)..

Koaz..if only I did not make stupid strike kerb and reverse movement and my ebrake all nicely done. I would have passed cause if in circuit two points + 14 points only 16 points all in all..and its pass..:)

Oh ok this time the deduction of points was ok( i know you all would say i still fail) as compared with the first and second time especially outside road. but I guess the most important thing I know my mistakes and also I don't mind trying again, thou have to spent money..but since already do liaoz..might as well get it done and over with.I need to be more confident of myself and don't be nervous. Wai Loon you can do it ! YOU CAN YOU CAN :) Need to focus more and also don't worry too much..no point :)

For now it time for me to focus on my holiday which is next Monday and 6 more days to go ....wee..Chengdu and Jiu Zhai gou here I come.

Went out with Thomas on Vesek day, Thomas is my secondary school friend.We have known each other for 12 years liaoz..and he keeps reminding me 12 years liaoz..like that liaoz la..haha hope his not reading this blog entry..keke..

Thomas treated me a banana slip ice cream from Gelare..it was nice..thou was kinda filling thou but its still nice. Thank you so much for the ice cream treat pal :)

Went to shop around in PS, went to John little, Marks and Spencer and G2000..sales sales everywhere..speaking of which I did not get anything..Than headed onto Heeren..Went to shop at Four Skin. HMV, IMP, Swatch and Fossil.Than after proceeded onto Takashimaya, went to G2000, Bossini and last stop was Kinokuniya.Thomas bought two Chinese books,while I bought nothing :p. Thomas was saying that I went to so many shops and did not buy anything and he was the one ended up buying..:)

I will stop here for now..have a great weekend and enjoy the Great Singapore Sales..:)

Went to watch Pirates of the Caribbean today at Cineleisure...It's so crowded as usual, actually its been quite sometime since I watched movie at Cineleisure, cause I would prefer to watch movie at The Grand Cathay and when the Cathay is in operation at AMK hub, I won't have to go all the way to town to watch movie..:)

The movie was okay.I would give it a 8 /10. As usual with lots of action and of course some humour here and there..

After that went for dinner at Takashimaya, Its so crowded, queues here and there, busy shoppers buzzing around. But we settled into Sanur restaurant and had our dinner.

It was a great weekend to hang around town especially I don't usually go town often.

3 more days to go.............stay tune.

Oh by the way, the next movie I would like to catch is Shrek 3.
